Autobiography Of A Hopi
documentaryThe story of James Kootshangsie is told in his own words and with his own voice. During the early 1930s when he was a young Hopi boy, US Army soldiers took him and other children from his tribe to a government boarding school 500 miles away, where he learned about city life and working for money. During the following years he endured the Great Depression and fought in World War II before finally returning to the reservation from which he was taken to resume life as a farmer. This is his story. More information about this film can be found at http:earthspiritmovie.wordpress.com
