A pair of evil gung-fu artists, Heaven and Earth, are slaughtering the entire Yin-Yang brotherhood. he movie opens with two members of the brotherhood and their two male children being chased by Heaven, Earth, and misc. bad guys. The two members get away separately with their children. Twenty years later we see Jackie Chan as he hunts frogs and snakes and keeps them in his pants. You learn he was one of the boys the other is a lazy man who uses windmill-driven levers to deliver things to and from bedside, even a chamberpot and breakfast. Eventually, their respective paternal figures are killed, and they are forced to fight Heaven and Earth.

A group of people headed by Bruce and Andy two wealthy men, are heading to Africa in the search of the City of the Dead. Among the crew are Betty Graham Bruce's fiancee, William Graham father to Betty and Buckthorn Buck the acting guide. William hopes to be reunited with his brother Reverend James 'Jim' Graham who is a missionary and has been in the jungle for many years. Meanwhile in the jungle, Dr. Robert Hammond known to the natives as Junga is working on a cure for the fatal disease the natives call Malaka. Having sent a sample of his serum to cure the disease to the States via ship,Dr. Hammond is told by Reverend Graham that the ship with his serum has been torpedo by a U-boat. Simultaneously, the adventure crew has made it safely into the jungle and make their way to look for the lost city. Met with many challenges such as lions, snakes headhunters, the crew discover the lost city. However, when an outbreak of Malaka takes on the crew and the natives, will Dr. Hammond be able to save the day
